The CEO Yourself workshop and lunch hosted by The Wedding Edition at Brooklands Restaurant at The Peninsula London is most definitely the latter.
Hermione Olivia – author of CEO Yourself: Master Your Potential. Take Charge of Your Life – gathered 26 female founders, entrepreneurs and senior leaders for an intimate afternoon built around one deceptively simple idea: that the tools we apply so readily to running a business can be turned inward.

La Fete was brought in to style the space, and the brief was incredibly rewarding.
Brooklands is a beautifully contemporary room with extraordinary views across London: clean lines and architectural confidence.
The remit was to bring warmth and intimacy to it without fighting its bones. Working with an early-autumn palette of burgundy, deep red and pale pink, lifted with green and flashes of white, Charlotte layered the space thoughtfully.
Ricky Paul Flowers created loose, romantic arrangements running the length of the tables, anchored by a larger statement piece on the round.
Duchess and Butler dressed the tables with elegant tableware and linens, while lighting from Addison Ross added the kind of candlelight warmth that makes a room feel like a gathering rather than an event.
Bespoke menus by The Styled Writing Company, printed by Leeming Brothers, completed every last detail.
The result was polished, not precious. Exactly the kind of room where women feel comfortable having honest conversations.
The Afternoon Guests joined Hermione for a 45-minute workshop before lunch, exploring the CEO Cycle at the heart of her book and considering their priorities for the final quarter of the year.
The conversations that followed over a three-course menu (paired with Louis Roederer Champagne) continued in the same spirit.
Each guest left with a signed copy of CEO Yourself and an invitation to a facial experience at Montrose London.
A thoughtful close to an afternoon that proved, rather neatly, that sometimes the greatest investment really is in yourself.
For La Fete, it really was the kind of project that reminds us why the details matter – because when every element is considered, a room stops being a backdrop and becomes part of the story.
