A Manifestation Lunch with Roxie Nafousi at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair

An inside look at a beautifully styled manifestation lunch with Roxie Nafousi at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, designed by La Fête for The Wedding Edition. Discover warm-toned tablescapes, sculptural florals and thoughtful event styling.

An Afternoon of Intention, Energy and Elevated Design

Set high above the heart of Mayfair, La Fête was proud to style an intimate and deeply inspiring event hosted by The Wedding Edition with leading manifestation expert Roxie Nafousi.

More than just a beautifully curated lunch, this was an experience rooted in intention, connection and quiet transformation – where every design detail worked in harmony with the conversation unfolding around the table.

From the moment guests arrived at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting and quietly powerful. This was manifestation in its most modern form – less about vision boards, more about self worth, clarity and showing up for the life you truly want.

The Design Concept – Warmth, Optimism and Layered Detail

At the heart of the event was a long, sunlit tablescape designed to feel as good as it looked. La Fête approached the styling with a focus on warmth, tactility and thoughtful layering, creating a setting that encouraged conversation, reflection and connection.

A palette of rich oranges, soft peaches and vibrant citrus tones ran throughout the design, echoing Roxie Nafousi’s signature aesthetic and the instantly recognisable cover of her book Manifest. These tones were balanced with softer neutrals and fresh greens, creating a look that felt both energising and grounded.

Maison Margaux linens provided the foundation, with delicate patterns and scalloped edges bringing subtle movement and refinement to the table. Each place setting was carefully considered – from bamboo-handled cutlery to layered plates with warm-toned detailing, all designed to feel elevated yet relaxed.

Sculptural Florals and Thoughtful Styling Moments

Florals by Kathryn Josey brought a sense of playfulness and movement to the table. Arrangements were intentionally loose and sculptural, featuring an abundance of seasonal blooms in shades of tangerine, apricot and sunshine yellow.

Ranunculus, roses and textural stems danced between tall glass candle holders, creating height variation and a sense of natural flow. Citrus fruits – lemons, limes and oranges – were woven throughout the tablescape, adding bursts of colour and an organic, almost sun-drenched Mediterranean feel.

The styling extended far beyond the table. Around the space, curated shelves displayed delicate bud vases, clusters of blooms and neatly arranged copies of Manifest, creating visual moments that tied the entire room together. Larger floral installations at the bar added drama and scale, framing the space where guests gathered before and after the talk.

A Tablescape Designed for Connection

Every detail was chosen with intention. Personalised place settings featured beautifully designed menus by The Styled Writing Co, while tactile elements like Aspinal of London gifts added a luxurious and meaningful touch.

One of the standout details was the placement of journals embossed with affirmations such as “I am Magnetic” – a subtle yet powerful nod to the themes of the afternoon. These were not just decorative elements, but prompts for reflection, seamlessly weaving the concept of manifestation into the physical experience.

Tall glowing candles as table centres

Tall, glowing candles in soft orange hues added warmth and intimacy, encouraging guests to settle in, slow down and engage in meaningful conversation.

Champagne, Conversation and Meaningful Moments

With Champagne Henriot flowing and an atmosphere that felt both relaxed and elevated, the lunch unfolded as a truly immersive experience. Guests were invited not only to enjoy the setting, but to be present within it.

Meaningful moments with Roxie Nafousi

Roxie Nafousi led a conversation that moved far beyond the surface, exploring manifestation through the lens of self worth, clarity and aligned action. It was honest, inspiring and deeply personal – creating a shared sense of openness among everyone in the room.

The design of the space played a crucial role in this. By creating an environment that felt warm, considered and welcoming, La Fête ensured that guests felt comfortable enough to engage fully, both with the conversation and with each other.

The Power of Thoughtful Event Design

This event was a reminder that the most meaningful experiences are not just visually beautiful, but emotionally resonant. When design and intention come together seamlessly, they create something far more impactful than aesthetics alone.

For La Fête, the goal was to craft a setting that supported the energy of the day – a space that felt uplifting yet grounded, refined yet relaxed. Every detail, from the colour palette to the final place setting, was designed to enhance the overall experience rather than simply decorate it.
