At La Fête, we believe that the planning process should be as joyous for you as the wedding itself.  

We are here to guide you through the many choices offered by France as a wedding destination, whether your dream is the opulent interior of a 5-star Parisian hotel or the majestic surroundings of the French Alps.

Your personal wedding planner is half French (she got married in France) and multilingual — fluent in French, Spanish, Italian and English. She has a deep personal knowledge of French cultural nuances, official requirements and its wealth of luxurious locations. 

As specialist  international wedding planners, we’ve developed our own award-winning signature service. It’s designed to go above and beyond, to meet your expectations and then exceed them.

Planning your Perfect French Wedding

The planning is meticulously executed, transparent and collaborative. This is your day, and we will make no decisions without you.    

We choreograph every detail — from the brief, the design presentation and layout zoning to orchestrating the many staff and contributors to the wedding itself. Nothing is left to chance. 

The full details can be found in the La Fête brochure, although the following should give you an overview of what to expect:

Your Vision

It starts with you as a couple — your likes and dislikes, passions and lifestyle. We’ll discuss your venue requirements, the guest list, the budget and your vision. It’s our job to guide and advise you.

For example, we can coordinate private jets, a fleet of car services, artists’ contracts and greenrooms, security staff for V-VIPs, protocol officers and private protection officers.

Expenditure Planning

We’ll set a  budget and I’ll keep this on track throughout. You’ll have the final say on spending — and continuous access to the budget sheet while I negotiate the best prices on the highest quality foods, chefs, items and services, musicians and artists.

The budget sheet will be in your own currency as well as Euros. You’ll know exactly where the money is going, and the reasons why.

Timeline Creation

Tasks and deadlines, so you’ll know what’s happening and when. This is also where I and the team plan for the unexpected in order to head off problems before they happen.

Venue Sourcing

Working to your brief, we curate a shortlist of venues in France and can arrange visits for you — either in person or virtually. We look at garden layouts and interior floor plans, private aircraft or helicopter landing locations, privacy and security measures.

Every detail, from the location of each electrical point to your own view of the spectacular surrounding landscapes.

Supplier Sourcing

La Fête has a national and international base of rigorously vetted, top-quality French suppliers and local vendors. We know them well and trust them implicitly.

A supplier will be recommended only if they are suitable for you, and it makes sense for you to work with them. Again, you have the final say on which supplier is chosen for your wedding.

Design Presentation

This is where your vision comes to life. Our designer presents you with a detailed plan of the colours and designs, locations, banqueting areas and zoning layouts for each element of your wedding.

Together, we’ll refine it to perfection.

Wedding Day Management

Just enjoy yourselves. I will be the supervisory point of contact — for suppliers, guests and yourselves — acting with discretion, adaptability and efficiency to make your wedding a truly exceptional, unforgettably romantic experience.

Above and Beyond…

Myself and the team can organise cocktails and brunches, schedule spa appointments, coordinate gown and tuxedo fittings, arrange travel and accommodation, limousines, security staff, 5-star venue buy-outs and private jet transport.

Information About Your Wedding Planner

I’m Charlotte Ricard-Quesada, the founder and creative director of La Fête.

After a decade in the world of luxury fashion, working with Dior and Tom Ford amongst others, I made the decision to follow my lifelong passion. La Fête was born in 2016 because innovative ideas, logical common sense and a meticulous eye for detail provides a perfect foundation for wedding and corporate events planning. 

Since then, my team and I have created unforgettable experiences for discerning professional couples in the UK and worldwide. 

From a Tuscan fairytale to a VIP wedding at Hampton Court Palace, each celebration is as unique as the couple themselves. Myself and the team are acknowledged specialists in multi-faith, inter-faith and LGBTQ+ weddings. 

I am both honoured and humbled to be the recipient of several industry accolades, including Best Wedding Planner at the BrideLux UK Awards 2022. This is a testament to the hard work of my team, and the care we bring to every wedding, no matter its location or scale.

How involved will we be? Will we have control over the decision-making?

This wedding is entirely your own, a celebration which reflects your unique relationship, so you’ll be involved throughout. You will have continuous access to the budget sheet, and all decisions will be yours.

We’d like a religious marriage ceremony. Can you help us with this?

Yes. If you would like a religious marriage ceremony, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Depending on where you wish to marry, whether it’s in the UK or in Mediterranean Europe, there may be specific legal requirements. Your personal wedding designer can provide all the advice you need, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

What makes you different from other wedding planners?

At La Fête, we specialise in high-end weddings for couples who expect nuanced, luxurious elegance and impeccable service. 

Your wedding planner and creative designer, Charlotte Ricard-Quesada, is multilingual and multicultural. She speaks four languages fluently — French, Italian, Spanish and English. Whether you wish to marry in France, Italy, Spain or the UK, she has a deep, personal understanding of the cultures and traditions of each country.  

We also offer an extraordinary level of personalisation, because the more we understand you as a couple, the more exceptional your celebration will be.

Can we get married legally abroad?

Yes, you can legally get married abroad, provided you follow the laws and processes of the country where you wish to marry. 

Your personal wedding designer and planner, Charlotte Ricard-Quesada, is fully up to speed with the laws and processes of our destination wedding countries — France, Spain and Italy. She will explain the process, provide advice and make all the necessary arrangements to ensure your marriage is legally recognised abroad and in the UK. 

Can you help us design and plan our LGBTQIA+ wedding?

Yes. It would be an honour. 

When it comes to your wedding, dream big because there are no limits. You have complete freedom to let your imagination run wild. Whatever your vision for this celebration, we will design a wedding which becomes a lifelong treasured memory.

My partner and I are each from different cultures. How will you represent this when we get married?

At La Fête, we specialise in fusion weddings — deeply personalised celebrations which honour each family’s cultural heritage, as well as your relationship with each other. 

Your wedding planner and designer has a blend of French and English heritage, grew up in Switzerland and later married her Spanish husband in France. Multiculturalism is part of her DNA.

I have no idea what style of wedding I’d like. Can you guide me?

Yes, of course. Many of our couples come to us with a blank canvas regarding their wedding celebration. 

If you have no clear vision for the day, please don’t worry. As wedding designers, it’s our role to help you create and define the vision, then bring it to life.
